Joining the waitlist is free. Once we open, the doctor consultation is free, and there is no start-up fee. Other clinics charge up to SEK 1,995 to start. The introductory price is SEK 0 for the first 4 weeks on all memberships, even with no commitment. After that the membership costs from SEK 199 per 4 weeks for weight loss and from SEK 69 per 4 weeks for erectile dysfunction. You buy the medication yourself at the pharmacy. Nothing now. Joining the waitlist is free and non-binding, and we take no payment until we open in Sweden. Then this applies: if you choose the rolling membership, you pay SEK 0 for the first 4 weeks and only pay once they are over. If you choose 12 weeks or 1 year, you pay your first period up front, with the 4 free weeks deducted, but only on the day the doctor approves you and issues your prescription. The period runs from that same day. If the doctor does not approve the treatment, you pay nothing. You pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.

Then you pay nothing. If the doctor finds that the treatment is not right for you, or that you do not meet the medical requirements for treatment, the doctor explains why, and you pay SEK 0.

You decide. With a 1-year membership (weight loss SEK 199 per 4 weeks, SEK 2,589 paid annually; erectile dysfunction SEK 69 per 4 weeks, SEK 899 paid annually) or a 12-week membership, you pay the period in one go and get the lower price. The membership with no commitment (weight loss SEK 289, erectile dysfunction SEK 129 per 4 weeks) can be cancelled at any time. The commitment starts on the day the doctor approves you and issues your prescription. After that the membership renews automatically at the same price. You cancel yourself in the patient portal no later than 24 hours before a renewal. The portal opens together with the clinic; until then there is the waitlist. See the terms.

Yes. In Sweden, licensed doctors may issue prescriptions after a video or phone consultation when the doctor finds it medically appropriate. Recepta does not yet issue prescriptions in Sweden. Join the waitlist, and we will get in touch when we open.

Recepta is opening soon in Sweden. Join the waitlist now, and we will get in touch as soon as you can choose a time. Once we have opened, you can often talk to the doctor the same day, including evenings and weekends. If the doctor approves your treatment, the prescription is sent straight after the call.

You answer a few questions about your health and join the waitlist. Once we open, you book a free consultation with a doctor, on video for weight loss and by phone for erectile dysfunction. The doctor goes through your answers with you and assesses whether the treatment is right for you.

If the doctor approves your treatment once we have opened, the prescription is sent electronically, and you collect the medication and pay for it at any pharmacy.

In Sweden the Wegovy tablet is available at pharmacies as a parallel import. Novo Nordisk has not yet launched it officially here. The Wegovy tablet (semaglutide 25 mg in tablet form) was approved in the EU on 15 July 2026 and launched in Germany on 1 September 2026. At Apoteket.se, 30 tablets of 1.5 mg cost SEK 2,003 and 30 tablets of 9 mg cost SEK 3,099 (16 October 2026). It is not covered by the high-cost protection scheme and requires a prescription from a doctor. Not from Recepta yet. We are opening soon in Sweden, and then you talk to a licensed doctor on video or by phone. If the tablet is suitable for you, the prescription is sent electronically, and you collect the medication at the pharmacy. The doctor can also assess whether the Wegovy pen, which has the same active substance, is right for you. Never buy Wegovy without a prescription from unknown online shops.

At several online clinics you first meet a nurse or a questionnaire, and a doctor you never speak to then reviews your record. At Recepta the doctor goes through your answers with you personally, and you have the same doctor throughout your treatment.

Yes. You talk to the doctor from home on video or by phone, and all our doctors are bound by full doctor-patient confidentiality. You collect the prescription at the pharmacy, like any other prescription medication.

Yes. Recepta is a registered treatment facility in Denmark supervised by the Danish Patient Safety Authority. Licensed doctors handle all treatment, and we keep medical records under the same rules as other healthcare providers. Read more under authority and safety.
